Vagamon, Kerala

This weekend, we gonna explore a beautiful place that everyone should visit. It's non other than Kerala. Kerala is also called as "God's Own Country" since it has so much beautiful scenic places to see. And Vagamon is one of them. If you are coming other part of Kerala, you will be crossing Theni, Tamil Nadu. It is around 100 km from Theni. Once you reached Theni, it will be straight beautiful bypass road. You see greeneries on both the sides of the road. For a traveler, I would suggest that maintain 70 to 80 km on your vehicle and just have a look around on the go. The stress you had over the week days will vanish just like that. The guard roads will start just before 10 km from Kumily.

Make sure that you don't have any unwanted belongings in your bag. Once you reach kumily check post, the police officers will make sure that you don't have any suspicious items (Drugs, Drinks) in your bag. Once, you get the clearance from police officers, there you go. The adventure starts there. will be having a super beautiful roads and landmarks ahead. The roads are super broad and clean. There is a view point called Parunthumpara view point on the way. Those who loves off roads and all, then you have to try reaching Parunthumpara via Sathiram road. This is kinda take diversion from Vandiperiyar town. Once you crossed Vandiperiyar, you will see a direction board states 'Sathiram' to your left. Take left to experience a bit of off road.

In 20 to 25 minutes, you will reach Parunthumpara view point. There, you can enjoy the mountain view by taking a walk over the edges on the pedestrian walk. Don't forget to take a snap.

PARUNTHUMPARA

You can try riding your bike or car over the top of the mountains as well. There are so many places around the view point you can try with your bike.

Once done with the view point, move on to Vagamon that takes 1 to 1.5 hours to reach.
